Bodegas Yuntero attends the Expovins 2014 Fair in Brazil

La 18ª edición de Expovins tiene lugar en Sao Paulo (Brasil) desde el 22 al 24 de abril. La visita de Bodegas Yuntero a este evento se emplaza en una iniciativa del Instituto de Promoción Exterior de Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX) para fomentar la participación de empresas manchegas en esta feria.

Expovins 2014 es una de las ferias especializadas en bebidas más importantes que se celebran en América Latina. Así lo reflejan los datos de asistencia de la edición pasada: 19.000 visitantes, 432 expositores de hasta 11 países distintos, 5.000 marcas representadas y más de 60.000 botellas de vino degustadas.

En cuanto a vino importado, el mercado brasileño es un mercado en alza que ha registrado grandes cambios en los últimos años, pasando de un 48% de vino importado en 1998 a un 76,7% en 2009, según datos ofrecidos por el IPEX.

La participación en la Feria Expovins 2014 supone para Bodegas Yuntero una gran oportunidad para dar a conocer los vinos de la bodega a los importadores de la zona y entablar nuevos acuerdos de exportación.

Actualmente Bodegas Yuntero designa el 86% de su producción a la exportación. Los productos de esta bodega manchega se comercializan así en una veintena de países, entre ellos Estados Unidos, los países del Este, Francia y Alemania, siendo estos dos últimos dos de sus principales clientes. Recientemente, la bodega ha abierto su primera oficina comercial en China, otro gran mercado en expansión y uno de los principales consumidores de vino del mundo.

Bodegas Yuntero, 60 años de historia
En 2014 la Bodega cumple 60 años existencia. Con sede en Manzanares (Ciudad Real), pertenece a la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón conformada por 700 socios viticultores cuya extensión total de viñedos asciende a 6.000 Hectáreas. Durante la vendimia 2013 la bodega dio cabida a 89,4 millones de kilos de uva, frente a los 56,3 de 2012, batiendo de esta forma sus propios récords de producción.

A lo largo de estos 60 años la bodega ha recibido el reconocimiento nacional e internacional del sector a través de prestigiosos premios. Los últimos de ellos: dos medallas de oro en la Berliner Wein Trophy 2014 de Alemania, y una medalla de plata en el Vinalies Internationales 2014 de Paris. Cabe recordar que el año pasado obtuvo una puntuación excelente por parte del crítico estadounidense Robert Parker quién otorgó 90, 90 y 89 puntos sobre 100 a tres vinos de Yuntero.

Hoy la Bodega produce, tanto en su versión convencional como ecológica, vinos Blancos, con las variedades de uva Airén, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc y Chardonnay; y vinos Tintos con las variedades Cencibel, Cabernet, Merlot y Syrah.

Ofrece una amplia gama de vinos embotellados: Jóvenes, Crianzas, Reservas y Ecológicos al amparo de cuatro Denominaciones (Vinos D.O. La Mancha, Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla, Vinos Ecológicos, Vinos de Mesa).
Las marcas actualmente registradas forman un gran abanico preparados para los distintos mercados: Yuntero, Lazarillo, Casa de la Teja, Cesta de Frutas, Viña Altair, Mundo de Yuntero, Cultus, Ídolo y Epílogo.

At Bodegas Yuntero we consider essential the development of a Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System, based on the Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and in the BRC and IFS Food Safety Protocols, in order to certify the safe production of our wines, complying with the legal and regulatory requirements that are applicable in our wine production, aging, bottling and marketing activities, and with those established by the client, and other requirements that the organization subscribes, related to its environmental aspects and occupational health and safety hazards.

The Winery supports all staff in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the system, considering each worker as the protagonist of the most important phase of the service of a company of recognized Quality, also promoting responsibility towards the environment.

Bodegas Yuntero, through its Integrated Management System, allows patents, its concern and permanent commitment to Quality and the Environment and to achieve a guarantee for the future of our planet that only competitive, sustainable organizations at the forefront of the market can offer.

  • It considers environmental criteria a priority in decision-making, and studying at all times the best environmental technology available, thus modernizing our processes to increase their effectiveness in a reasonable period of time and where necessary.
