Meet Pedro Ramírez, New Managing Director

Pedro Ramírez has been part of the Administration team at Bodegas Yuntero since May 2012. In the first stage he carried out tasks as an administrator of the Quality Department, later he became the Head of Administration of the Department of Partners and Agricultural Products and Services to take the leap to the accounting and finance area of ​​the company, being appointed Head of Administration and Deputy to Management in December 2021.

Following the retirement of Ramón Alcarazo, on January 14, Pedro was appointed Managing Director of Bodegas Yuntero, giving continuity to his management model, with its personal nuances.

What do you like most about your job? The moment in which Pedro most enjoys his work is when he perceives that the client feels truly satisfied with the product or service. For him, customer satisfaction gives meaning to all the company's activity and the work of the team. In addition, he is passionate about accounting analysis and economic and financial results.

Study Business Management at the University of Granada and has recently completed a Master in Marketing and Commercial Management por EAE Business School.

Since he was little he started in world of viticulture and wine. Exactly we move to his childhood in La Mancha, where from a very young age he collaborated with the family in agricultural tasks, in the vineyard that the family owned. In his land, surrounded by green vineyards in summer and winter landscapes during the pruning season, he internalized the values ​​of effort, perseverance and discipline, as fundamental aspects to be successful in any activity or project that you want to develop. Since then, it has had a great commitment to rural development.

Some traits worth highlighting about Pedro are his ability to work, responsibility, empathy, active listening, and respect for others, which he transmits on a daily basis to the rest of the team.

His favorite wine is Epilogo Sauvignon Blanc which you can enjoy at any family gathering or with friends.

There are two phrases that guide him in his daily life and he tries to transmit to his team:

“Success is a ladder that you cannot climb with your hands in your pockets.”

At Bodegas Yuntero we consider essential the development of a Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System, based on the Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and in the BRC and IFS Food Safety Protocols, in order to certify the safe production of our wines, complying with the legal and regulatory requirements that are applicable in our wine production, aging, bottling and marketing activities, and with those established by the client, and other requirements that the organization subscribes, related to its environmental aspects and occupational health and safety hazards.

The Winery supports all staff in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the system, considering each worker as the protagonist of the most important phase of the service of a company of recognized Quality, also promoting responsibility towards the environment.

  • Arrange the delivery of our products in a way that causes the lowest possible environmental impact , always making sure that the products reach our customers in suitable packaging that complies with the applicable environmental regulations.
  • It considers environmental criteria a priority in decision-making, and studying at all times the best environmental technology available, thus modernizing our processes to increase their effectiveness in a reasonable period of time and where necessary.
