Bodegas Yuntero presents a new Verdejo grape wine

Con la añada 2017, la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero incorpora a su marca “Yuntero” un nuevo vino blanco: Yuntero Verdejo. Se trata de un blanco joven que cuenta con Denominación de Origen (DO) La Mancha, y que está elaborado en su totalidad con la variedad de uva Verdejo.

La bodega amplía así la selección de vinos que ofrece bajo la marca Yuntero. En tintos: Yuntero Reserva, Yuntero Crianza y Yuntero Tempranillo. En blancos: Yuntero Macabeo y el nuevo Yuntero Verdejo, y finalmente el vino Yuntero Rosado que completa la gama de esta marca.

Yuntero Verdejo
La uva Verdejo se caracteriza por ser una variedad de brotación temprana. Está considerada como una de las mejores variedades en España, según informa el Consejo Regulador de la DO La Mancha, y produce “vinos muy aromáticos, con cuerpo, glicéricos y suaves”, que destacan “por su frescura, acidez y untuosidad”.

El nuevo blanco de Bodegas Yuntero es un vino limpio, muy brillante, de color amarillo pajizo y con reflejos verdosos. En nariz, presenta una intensidad aromática media, con notas a hierba recién cortada, hinojo, cítricos y manzana verde.

En boca resulta un vino muy fresco, con una acidez media/alta, muy compensada con la fruta. Deja un buen final y un toque ligeramente amargo, propio de la variedad Verdejo. Se recomienda consumir a una temperatura de entre 6º y 8º centígrados, y acompañar con pescados, mariscos, carnes blancas y arroces, entre otros platos.

Con la añada 2017, la cooperativa manchega ha decidido también renovar el vino blanco de la marca Lazarillo que pasa a elaborarse ahora con la variedad Airén, uva característica de La Mancha, región donde se concentra mayoritariamente su cultivo.

El vino Lazarillo Airén de Bodegas Yuntero, con Indicación Geográfica Protegida (IGP), es de color amarillo pálido con ribetes dorados, brillantes. En nariz resulta un caldo delicado, limpio, aromático, de buena intensidad. Contiene toques a frutas como el plátano y la manzana. En boca se caracteriza por su suavidad y frescura, siendo igualmente de estructura persistente y con una buena acidez.
