Bodegas Yuntero obtains a silver medal in the Bacchus International Competition

La Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero ha obtenido el Bacchus de plata en el X Concurso Internacional de Vinos Bacchus 2012. Este concurso, organizado por la Unión Española de Catadores, se ha consolidado en sus ya 10 ediciones como el certámen de calidad mas importante de cuantos se celebran en España. 90 Catadores de todo el mundo han elegido en cata ciega los mejores vinos entre mas de 1.500 muestras de 27 países.

Este premio viene a refrendar la apuesta permanente por la calidad que esta bodega-cooperativa desarrolla en todos sus procesos, avalados por las diferentes certificaciones de normas de calidad: ISO, BRC, IFS y NOP.

El vino premiado Yuntero Macabeo 2011, está compuesto por 85 por 100 de la variedad Macabeo y un 15 por 100 de Sauvignon Blanc, Vendimia realizada en los primeros días de septiembre, con recogida mecanizada nocturna, para proceder a una ligera maceración de la masa de uva para favorecer la extracción de compuestos aromáticos de los hollejos. Extracción de todo el mosto yema por sangrado directo, sin emplear ningún tipo de presión sobre la masa de la uva. Este mosto yema se lleva a limpiar mediante desmangado estático en frio y a temperatura de 8ºC. Se emplea para ello depósitos isotermos en los que se somete el mosto a decantación durante 24-36 horas. Posteriormente se lleva a fermentación controlando su temperatura entre 14-16ºC, durando la fermentación unos 20 días. Las temperaturas bajas y la limpidez con la que se lleva el mosto a fermentar son la clave para obtener una mayor expresividad aromática.

La nota de cata del vino Yuntero Macabeo 2011, en su fase visual es brillante, amarillo pálido con reflejos verdosos. En la fase olfativa de gran intensidad aromática, donde encontramos aromas de frutas verdes (manzana verde) y florales de flores blancas. En la fase gustativa es un vino fresco, ligeramente ácido, también proporciona una sensación refrescante por el pequeño punto de carbónico natural que tiene, el paso en boca es largo y persistente.
