After attending the VINEXPO Asia-Pacific (Hong Kong) and TOPWINE (Beijing) fairs, Bodegas Yuntero continues to promote its products in China. This time in the port city of Yantai where the Yantai International Wine Festival 2014 takes place, from June 10 to 14. The La Mancha winery will also be in Tokyo (Japan) in a promotional action aimed at Japanese distributors and organized by IPEX.
In 2014, Bodegas Yuntero opened its first commercial office in China as it has one of the markets with the highest current growth rate in the wine sector. Proof of this is that in 2013 China became the largest consumer of red wine in the world, with 1,865 million bottles, surpassing, for the first time, traditionally consuming countries such as France and Italy.
After Bodegas Yuntero's recent visit to two of the most important wine sector fairs in this country, VINEXPO Asia-Pacific and TOPWINE, Yuntero participates, from tomorrow until June 14, in the Yantai International Wine Festival. Located in the northeast of Shandong province, the port city of Yantai is known for being one of the main locations for Chinese wine production and bottling companies.
At the same time, on June 12, Bodegas Yuntero will also go to the Spanish embassy in Tokyo (Japan) where a action to promote agri-food products from Castilla La Mancha, aimed at importers and distributors in the area. This event is part of the current “Spain-Japan Dual Year” that commemorates 400 years of commercial exchanges between both countries.
The Institute for Foreign Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX) promotes the participation, in both events, of a group of agri-food companies from La Mancha, including Bodegas Yuntero. The final objective is to increase the promotion of products from this Autonomous Community in both China and Japan.
Currently, 86% of Bodegas Yuntero's production is destined for export. The winery markets its wines in around twenty countries. Participation in these fairs is a reinforcement and support for the constant work of promotion and marketing of Yuntero wines in order to promote new export agreements.
