Two white wines from Bodegas Yuntero have been awarded gold medals in the prestigious international competition Berliner Wein Trophy 2014. These are the organic wine Mundo de Yuntero Blanco 2013 and Epílogo Blanco 2013, both with La Mancha Designation of Origin.
The Berliner Wein Trophy, which celebrated its 18th edition in Berlin (Germany) in February 2014, is one of the most renowned international competitions in the wine sector. The contest is sponsored by the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), who last year decided to establish a maximum of 3,500 registrations in each of its tastings with the aim of reinforcing the quality in the selection. This limitation of participants also means that the award becomes one of the most desired international awards by Wineries.
In this way, the gold medals that the white wines Mundo de Yuntero 2013 and Epílogo 2013 have obtained in this 18th edition of the Berliner Wein Trophy 2014, whose jury was made up of 150 international experts, are a recognition of the work of this La Mancha winery. which turns 60 in 2014.
