Bodegas Yuntero launches a new wine on the market called “Poética”. It is a wine with a low alcohol content (7%), sparkling and sweet. It is made with the Verdejo and Moscatel grape varieties, with a percentage of 90% and 10% respectively. The use of the Verdejo variety in this type of wine is not usually common, which gives “Poética” a point of distinction over them.
“Poética” is a bright yellow wine, with abundant bubbles from the integrated carbon dioxide. On the nose, aromas of green apple and the characteristic citrus notes of the Verdejo grape variety appear, as well as the tropical and honeyed touches of the Muscat variety.
In the mouth it is sweet and pleasant, as well as sparkling due to the carbon and acidity it contains. It runs through the mouth leaving a fruity sensation and has a long aftertaste. It comes to the market with an attractive quality/price ratio.
Poetic, for the young consumer and those who opt for low alcohol content
Bodegas Yuntero presents this new wine to the market thinking about the young consumer who is starting out in the world of wines; also for those who prefer low-grade products; and its sweetness makes it equally attractive to the most sweet palates.
“Poética” is the first feminine name that Bodegas Yuntero uses to name one of its wines. The label design, with a bucolic aesthetic, incorporates daisies, bubbles and an open book from which a cloud of letters and butterflies fly out, this is intended to evoke those idyllic afternoons of reading and wine, in the countryside, surrounded by nature.
The bottle, made of amber glass, is characterized by being wide and with pronounced curves at the base, and narrows halfway until it ends in a thin, stylized neck with a golden capsule dotted with butterflies and letters, matching the label. .
Elaboration process
To obtain the most aromatic yolk juice possible, the new “Poética” wine from Bodegas Yuntero requires careful destemming of the grapes, a small maceration of the fruit in a tank and meticulous devatting. Next, the must is statically racked at a low temperature, achieving a practically transparent must.
Fermentation is controlled at all times until the desired content of both alcohol and sugar is reached. At that point, fermentation is stopped by applying low temperatures.
