International Wine Spirit Competition (IWSC 2017)
The IWSC 2017 competition, which has just awarded Bodegas Yuntero a bronze medal, is one of the oldest held in the world. It was founded in 1969 by the chemical oenologist Anton Massel, under the initial name of “Club Oenologique”. This contest is characterized by evaluating the chemical analyzes of the wines, in addition to the classic factors such as flavor, aroma, color and texture, among others.
The competition is divided into two stages, over seven months, a first blind tasting carried out by a jury of four hundred expert tasters from up to 30 different countries, and a second stage where the wines are subjected to a chemical and microbiological analysis by an independent laboratory. This selection process gives the wines awarded by the IWSC a distinctive quality and excellence highly valued in the sector, as well as by the final consumer.
Epílogo Sauvignon Blanc 2016
The white wine from Bodegas Yuntero Epílogo Sauvignon Blanc 2016 has the La Mancha Designation of Origin. It is made with the Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel grape varieties (90% and 10%, respectively).
It is a wine of great aromatic intensity, with the floral and exotic aromas of the Sauvignon Blanc variety (grapefruit, mango, passion fruit) being very well integrated with the muscatel tones of the muscat variety. In the mouth it is a very fresh wine with good volume. The combination of the two grape varieties gives it a honeyed, soft and silky sensation.
