The white wine Epílogo 2014 from Bodegas Yuntero has received the gold medal at the XIII Bacchus 2015 International Wine Competition held in Madrid, from March 19 to 23, organized by the Spanish Union of Tasters. It represents great national and international recognition for Bodegas Yuntero, and accredits the quality and excellence of its wines.
Epílogo blanco 2014, with Designation of Origin La Mancha, is made with the Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel grape variety (90% and 10%, respectively). It is of great aromatic intensity, with the floral and exotic aromas of the Sauvignon Blanc variety (grapefruit, mango, passion fruit) being very well integrated with the muscatel tones of the muscatel variety. In the mouth it is a very fresh wine with good volume. The combination of the two grape varieties gives it a honeyed, soft and silky sensation.
Bacchus 2015, prestigious competition
The Bacchus competition is the only one held in Spain endorsed by the World Federation of Major International Wine and Spirits Competitions (VINOFED) and is recognized by the International Vineyard Organization (OIV) and the International Union of Oenologists.
Its jury is made up of eighty expert tasters, including ten Masters of Wine and three Master Sommeliers, as well as specialized journalists and representatives of the main distribution companies and institutions in the global wine sector. For all these reasons, the Bacchus competition is considered the best measure of the quality of Spanish wines.
Epilogue 2014: Vinalies D’Or and Golden Bacchus
