Bodegas Yuntero, award for Best Organic Production Company in Castilla-La Mancha

The Jesús del Perdón cooperative received this award at the ceremony of delivery of great selection ‘Campo y Alma’ held last Wednesday in Valdepeñas.

Among the latest awards received, are the silver bacchus to the world of Yuntero Verdejo-Sauvignon Blanc and the Sauvignon Blanc epilogue, as well as the silver medal in the 2023 ecovine contest to the world of Yuntero Tempranillo Merlot-Syrah.

So far this year, Yuntero wineries have won a total of ten awards in national and international competitions.

The Francisco Nieva de Valdepeñas Auditorium Theater hosted the 34th edition of the Grand Selection ‘Field and Soul’ awards. These are the oldest awards granted by the Regional Government, in which the best quality foods in Castilla-La Mancha are rewarded and whose objective is the promotion and promotion of the agri-food sector of the region.

In his sixth call, the prize for the best ecological production company in Castilla-La Mancha was awarded to the Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero. The Manzanareña winery was a pioneer in 1992 in the elaboration of ecological wines in La Mancha; certified broths, like the rest of the wines of the cooperative, with the international seal for vegans, and currently have national and international demand.

Silver Bacchus in the Bacchus 2023 Wine Contest

The Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero cooperative has also been awarded two silver medals in the XXI International Wine Contest ‘Bacchus’ organized by the Spanish Union of Castors (EUC), held in Madrid between April 17 and 21.

One of the wines awarded with the Silver Bacchus is the Sauvignon Blanc 2022 epilogue, a product that has achieved another three awards this year, including gold in the ‘Berliner Wein Trophy’. The second wine recognized in this contest with a silver medal is the world of Yuntero Verdejo-Sauvignon Blanc 2022.

Silver in the Ecovino 2023 contest

Another of the awards received in the last dates is the silver medal in the XIV International Ecological Wine Contest, ‘Ecovino 2023’ awards organized by the permanent culture association of La Rioja.

The award-winning wine in this contest has been the world of Yuntero Tempranillo Merlot-Syrah 2022, which was also recognized with a silver medal at the ‘International Organic Awards 2023’, organized by Media International News United Kindom.

So far this year Bodegas Yuntero has accumulated ten awards in seven different international and national competitions: contest to the quality of bottled and varietal wines of the do La Mancha, worldwide contest of the Sauvignon Blanc, Berliner Wein Trophy, International Organic Awards 2023, ZARCILLO THE IBERIAN WINE AWARDS 2023, ECO WINE 2023 AND BACCHUS 2023.
