During the three days of the days "Buyer Meets Iberian Cellar”(BMIC) 2014, Bodegas have the opportunity to prove their wines and close trade agreements with distributors and importers from other countries. Specifically, for this 11th edition of the BMIC organized by Wine Pleasures, they come from countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Russia, Holland, Lebanon, United States, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Mexico, Mexico and Nigeria, among others.
Unlike other food and drink fairs, the BMIC days are closed in general, in order to ensure that both tastings and meetings that are held between wineries and buyers, are as productive as possible.
Currently, Bodegas Yuntero markets its products in about twenty countries, being the BMIC days an ideal occasion to strengthen existing commercial relations as well as to explore and explore to new markets.
Wine selection for BMIC
During the BMIC Conference, Bodegas Yuntero will present the following wines: the whites of the 2013 Athlete, Yuntero Macabeo, White Epilogue, Lazarillo Verdejo and the Ecological World of Yuntero Blanco; The reds, Yuntero Red 2013, Yuntero Creiaz 2010, Yuntero Reserve 2008, Oakogue Oakogue 2011, Lazarillo Red 2013 and the ecological world of Yuntero Red 2013; and finally, the Yuntero Rosado wine 2013.
One of these broths, the Roble 2011 Epilogue red, was awarded last year (2013) in different international competitions such as the International Challenge Du Vin de France (gold medal), the Bruxelles Mondial Concours Mondial (silver medal), or the Berliner Wein Trophy (silver medal). In addition, it was valued by the prestigious American critic Robert Parker with an excellent score: 89 out of 100.
In total, Bodegas Yuntero wines received more than a dozen national and international awards throughout 2013, and the recognition of critic Parker who also scored 90 points over 100 the white epilogue wines 2012 and the ecological Tempranillo 2012.
Yuntero Winery Products
The Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero cooperative, which this year celebrates 60 years of existence, is made up of 700 winemakers, with a total extension of vineyards of 6,000 hectares. The winery produces, both in its conventional and ecological version, white wines, with the Airén, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay varieties; and red wines with the varieties Cencibel, Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah.
Bodegas Yuntero thus offers a wide range of bottled wines: Young, Crianza, Reserve and Organic under four Denominations (D.O. La Mancha Wines, Tierra de Castilla Wines, Organic Wines, Table Wines). The currently registered brands form a wide range prepared for the different markets: Yuntero, Lazarillo, Casa de la Teja, Cesta de Frutas, Viña Altair, Mundo de Yuntero, Cultus, Ídolo and Epilogue.
