Bodegas Yuntero, in FENAVIN

Bodegas Yuntero presents its wide range of bottled wines during the eighth edition of the National Wine Fair (FENAVIN), which is held from May 12 to 14 in Ciudad Real. From the wines with Designation of Origin La Mancha, with the Epílogo and Yuntero brands, to the Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla, with the Lazarillo brand, and the Organic wines, with the Mundo de Yuntero brand.

The winery, in a permanent commitment to quality, has made investments in recent years amounting to 16 million euros, aimed at expanding its facilities, as well as providing the winery with the most advanced technology on the market to achieve excellence in all its processes: from the entry and selection of the grapes - with quality controls -, to the grinding, pressing, static racking, the optimal means of centrifuging and filtration of musts, and the careful temperature controls in the fermentation.

Bodegas Yuntero has 16 refrigeration units, with more than 6,000,000 million frigories. It has a total storage capacity of 90 million liters, using stainless steel containers of different capacities. It has a bottling plant that reaches a production of 6,000 bottles/hour and a climate-controlled barrel warehouse with 3,000 units of French and American oak.

In compliance with Environmental legislation, Bodegas Yuntero has built a treatment plant that controls all its flows before exiting to the Public Network.

Investment plan 2015
In the current campaign, the winery is carrying out a new investment project worth 5 million euros, consisting of the construction of a new wine preparation warehouse, new technical equipment, a laboratory, a tasting room and technical offices.

Bodegas Yuntero has a membership of 750 members, with 7,500 hectares of vineyards, of which it is worth highlighting a significant increase in the cultivation of quality varietal and organic grapes, and in which grapes of the following varieties are produced for white wines: Macabeo, Verdejo, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel. And for red wines: Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot.

Thanks to this wide range of grape varieties, Bodegas Yuntero has the capacity to meet the different tastes of its customers, providing the final wine that is demanded in each market.

The philosophy of Bodegas Yuntero-Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón is a permanent commitment to the quality of its products and processes, being certified in the different Quality Standards: ISO-BRC and IFS.

The support for the quality of its products is confirmed by the more than 100 first places it has achieved in various prestigious national and international competitions. During 2015, Bodegas Yuntero has been awarded the following awards:

At Bodegas Yuntero we consider essential the development of a Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System, based on the Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and in the BRC and IFS Food Safety Protocols, in order to certify the safe production of our wines, complying with the legal and regulatory requirements that are applicable in our wine production, aging, bottling and marketing activities, and with those established by the client, and other requirements that the organization subscribes, related to its environmental aspects and occupational health and safety hazards.
