Bodegas Yuntero opens its doors in the IV edition of the “Alma de Vino” conference

Por cuarto año consecutivo Bodegas Yuntero participa en las jornadas “Alma de Vino”, organizadas por el Ayuntamiento de Manzanares (Ciudad Real), que se celebrarán en esta localidad del 7 al 9 de noviembre, y cuyo objetivo es promover y dar a conocer la cultura y productos vitivinícolas de la zona.

Durante las jornadas, se podrán realizar visitas guiadas a las instalaciones de Bodegas Yuntero el sábado 8 de noviembre (11.00 y 12.30 horas) y el domingo 9 (12.00 horas), previa inscripción en la Oficina de Turismo de Manzanares (C/ Empedrada 3).

Instalaciones ampliadas para la vendimia 2014
A lo largo de 2014, la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero ha ampliado y mejorado sus instalaciones con un nuevo jaraíz de uva blanca, cuatro nuevos descargaderos de uva, y nuevos depósitos de almacenamiento de vino -que dotan a la bodega con una capacidad total de almacenamiento de 85 millones de litros de vino-, entre otros equipamientos. Todo ello, ha supuesto una inversión superior a los seis millones de euros.

Bodegas Yuntero estrenó la ampliación de sus instalaciones durante la recién finalizada vendimia 2014 que, con 95 millones de kilos de uva recogidos (un 6% más que la campaña anterior), pasa a ser récord de producción de los 60 años de historia de la bodega y convierte a la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero en la segunda Cooperativa vitivinícola con más producción de España.

Del total de uva recogida durante la pasada campaña, 15 millones de kilos proceden de viñedos ecológicos. En 1992 Bodegas Yuntero fue pionera en Castilla-La Mancha en producir y comercializar vinos de agricultura ecológica. Desde entonces, la cooperativa ha incrementado esta producción hasta convertirse en la bodega española más importante en denominación de uva ecológica.

Actualmente, la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero, que en 2014 celebra su 60 aniversario, cuenta con 800 Socios -de hasta 6 términos municipales- con una extensión de viñedos propios de 7.000 Hectáreas.

Expansion and international recognition
El 86% de la producción actual de Bodegas Yuntero es destinada a la exportación. Cuenta con un equipo comercial propio en Europa, Asia y América y exporta sus vinos a 17 países. La calidad de los vinos de Bodegas Yuntero es, además, reconocida nacional e internacionalmente, obteniendo primeros premios en diversos y prestigiosos certámenes como el Vinalies Internationales, Berliner Wein Trophy, Bacchus, Baco, Challenge International du Vin y Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, entre otros muchos.
