Bodegas Yuntero, on a commercial tour of the US

Bodegas Yuntero participa en el programa “USA Road Show 2014“, organizado por la Fundación Castilla La Mancha-Tierra de Viñedos, en el que un conjunto de bodegas manchegas darán a conocer sus vinos a distribuidores e importadores norteamericanos, mediante tres jornadas de seminarios y catas que se celebrarán -correlativamente del 24 al 26 de febrero- en Chicago, Washington DC y Nueva York.

Los eventos de la Fundación Tierra de Viñedos, en los que participa con asiduidad Bodegas Yuntero, tienen por finalidad asegurar la presencia de los vinos manchegos en el mercado nacional e internacional, y propiciar oportunidades de negocio para las bodegas de Castilla-La Mancha.

En la actualidad, Bodegas Yuntero comercializa sus productos en cerca de una veintena de países, siendo uno de ellos Estados Unidos. Con la participación en el programa “USA Road Show 2014”, en el que ya hay preinscritos más de 200 representantes de empresas estadounidenses que se dedican a la importación y distribución de vino, Bodegas Yuntero tiene por objetivo afianzar y ampliar las relaciones comerciales existentes, así como cerrar nuevos acuerdos.

Bodegas Yuntero, perteneciente a la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón y que este año cumple 60 años de existencia, está conformada por 700 socios viticultores, con una extensión total de viñedos de 6.000 Hectáreas. La Bodega produce, tanto en su versión convencional como ecológica, vinos Blancos, con las variedades de uva Airén, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc y Chardonnay; y vinos Tintos con las variedades Cencibel, Cabernet, Merlot y Syrah.

Bodegas Yuntero thus offers a wide range of bottled wines: Young, Crianza, Reserve and Organic under four Denominations (D.O. La Mancha Wines, Tierra de Castilla Wines, Organic Wines, Table Wines). The currently registered brands form a wide range prepared for the different markets: Yuntero, Lazarillo, Casa de la Teja, Cesta de Frutas, Viña Altair, Mundo de Yuntero, Cultus, Ídolo and Epilogue.

QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

At Bodegas Yuntero we consider essential the development of a Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System, based on the Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and in the BRC and IFS Food Safety Protocols, in order to certify the safe production of our wines, complying with the legal and regulatory requirements that are applicable in our wine production, aging, bottling and marketing activities, and with those established by the client, and other requirements that the organization subscribes, related to its environmental aspects and occupational health and safety hazards.

The Winery supports all staff in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the system, considering each worker as the protagonist of the most important phase of the service of a company of recognized Quality, also promoting responsibility towards the environment.

Bodegas Yuntero, through its Integrated Management System, allows patents, its concern and permanent commitment to Quality and the Environment and to achieve a guarantee for the future of our planet that only competitive, sustainable organizations at the forefront of the market can offer.

Our work is based on the following fundamental pillars:

  • Prevention, control and minimization of the environmental effects generated in the environment, originated from our activity.
  • Promotion of the implementation of segregation programs at the origin of waste, to favor its subsequent reuse and/or proper disposal.
  • Arrange the delivery of our products in a way that causes the lowest possible environmental impact , always making sure that the products reach our customers in suitable packaging that complies with the applicable environmental regulations.
  • It considers environmental criteria a priority in decision-making, and studying at all times the best environmental technology available, thus modernizing our processes to increase their effectiveness in a reasonable period of time and where necessary.
