Organic wine World of Yuntero Blanco 2012 of the Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero Cooperative received a Silver Medal in June 2013 in the fourth edition of the Ecovino Awards convened by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Environment of La Rioja. It was the only wine from Castilla-La Mancha awarded at the event.
At the national level, the Ecovino Awards They aim to publicize the quality of Spanish organic agricultural production, as well as promote the consumption of wines from this type of agriculture.
In this fourth edition, which had the collaboration of the Council of Ecological Agrarian Production of La Rioja (CPAER) and the Cultura Permanente association, a total of 77 wines from 38 wineries from all over Spain were presented.
In 2014, 20 years have passed since the Jesús del Perdón Cooperative introduced the Mundo de Yuntero brand to the market, the first La Mancha wine from organic vineyards.
Mundo de Yuntero Blanco 2012 (Silver Ecowine)
It is obtained after careful preparation and selection of grapes from the Bodegas Yuntero vineyards that are covered by the Organic Agriculture regulations.
It is made with the Airén (50%), Macabeo (25%) and Verdejo (25%) grape varieties. In its process it includes the settling of the must and a controlled fermentation at 16° C.
Pale and bright yellow in color, it stands out for its fine fruity and floral aromas. In the mouth it is fresh, cheerful and delicate.
