The ecological white from Bodegas Yuntero awarded at the 2013 Ecovino Awards

El vino ecológico Mundo de Yuntero Blanco 2012 de la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón-Bodegas Yuntero recibió en junio de 2013 una Medalla de Plata en la cuarta edición de los Premios Ecovino que convoca la Consejería de Agricultura, Ganadería y Medio Ambiente de La Rioja. Fue el único vino de Castilla-La Mancha galardonado en el evento.

De ámbito nacional, los Premios Ecovino tienen por objetivo dar a conocer la calidad de la producción agraria ecológica española, así como fomentar el consumo de vinos procedentes de este tipo de agricultura.

En esta cuarta edición, que contó con la colaboración del Consejo de la Producción Agraria Ecológica de La Rioja (CPAER) y la asociación Cultura Permanente, se presentaron un total de 77 vinos procedentes de 38 bodegas de toda España.

En 2014 se cumplen 20 años desde que la Cooperativa Jesús del Perdón introdujera en el mercado la marca Mundo de Yuntero, el primer vino manchego procedente de viñedos ecológicos.

Mundo de Yuntero Blanco 2012 (Ecovino de Plata)

Se obtiene tras una cuidada elaboración y selección de uvas procedentes de los viñedos de Bodegas Yuntero que se encuentran acogidos al reglamento de Agricultura Ecológica.

Está elaborado con las variedades de uva Airén (50%), macabeo (25%) y verdejo (25%). En su proceso cuenta con el desfangado del mosto y una fermentación controlada a 16° C.

De color amarillo pálido y brillante, destaca por sus finos aromas afrutados y florales. En boca resulta fresco, alegre y delicado.
