The Yuntero ecological celebrates 25 years with a renewed image

The Bodegas Yuntero Cooperative was a pioneer in Castilla-La Mancha in producing and marketing organic grape wines. It began in 1992 allocating five hectares of its land to the cultivation of organic vineyards. Currently, it has one thousand hectares for this type of cultivation, which in the 2017 harvest produced ten million kilos of organic grapes.

Mundo de Yuntero is the first organic wine brand that Bodegas Yuntero launched on the market. He is now twenty-five years old. For this reason, the Cooperative has renewed its image, by incorporating a new label and a new bottle. Image that will be released by the Mundo wines, red and white, from the new 2017 vintage.

The new young organic wines from the 2017 vintage of Bodegas Yuntero, which will be available on the market from the third or fourth week of December, will be the first to show off this new label and bottle.

The new Mundo de Yuntero wine label recreates a pleasant country landscape, with a tree as the protagonist, surrounded by flowers over which some butterflies fly over. The drawing has been developed in black ink, except for some details in carmine red (red wine version) and orange ocher (white wine).

The new bottle of Mundo de Yuntero wine differs quite a bit from the previous one, with the current one being wider in depth and body, gradually narrowing until it ends in a stylized neck.

The ecological World of Yuntero
The organic red Mundo de Yuntero is a young wine, made with the Tempranillo, Merlot and Syrah grape varieties. It is cherry colored with purple tones, with aromas reminiscent of ripe berries and wild red fruits. In the mouth, it is harmonious, structured and with character.

The young Mundo de Yuntero Blanco is made with the Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. Pale, bright yellow, it stands out for its fine fruity and floral aromas. In the mouth, it is fresh, cheerful and delicate with a long finish.

The quality of Mundo de Yuntero wines has been recognized and awarded, since they were launched on the market twenty-five years ago, on multiple occasions in various national and international competitions. Among the most recent awards, obtained during the 2016-2017 campaign, the gold medal of the German Berliner Wein Trophy 2017 competition stands out; the two silver medals in the Spanish Ecoracimo 2017 competition; and also the silver from the Spanish Catavinum 2017.
