Yuntero consigue dos medallas de oro en el Berliner Wein Trophy 2014

Dos vinos blancos de Bodegas Yuntero han sido galardonados con sendas medallas de oro en el prestigioso concurso internacional Berliner Wein Trophy 2014. Se trata del vino ecológico Mundo de Yuntero Blanco 2013 y del Epílogo Blanco 2013, ambos con Denominación de Origen La Mancha.

El Berliner Wein Trophy, que en febrero de 2014 celebró su 18ª edición en Berlín (Alemania), es una de las competiciones internacionales con más renombre del sector vinícola. El certamen está patrocinado por la Organización Internacional de la Viña y el Vino (OIV), quién el año pasado decidió establecer un máximo de 3.500 inscripciones en cada una de sus catas con el objetivo de reforzar la calidad en la selección. Esta limitación de participantes supone, además, que el premio se convierta en uno de los galardones internacionales más deseados por las Bodegas.

De esta forma, las medallas de oro que han obtenido los vinos blancos Mundo de Yuntero 2013 y Epílogo 2013 en esta 18ª edición del Berliner Wein Trophy 2014, cuyo jurado estaba compuesto por 150 expertos internacionales, son un reconocimiento a la labor de esta bodega manchega que en 2014 cumple 60 años.

Mundo de Yuntero Blanco 2014 (Medalla de Oro)

Con Denominación de Origen La Mancha, es un vino blanco ecológico obtenido tras una cuidada elaboración y selección de uvas procedentes de los viñedos de Bodegas Yuntero que se encuentran acogidos al reglamento de Agricultura Ecológica.

Está elaborado con las variedades de uva ecológicas Verdejo y Sauvignon Blanc. De color amarillo pálido y brillante, en nariz se perciben finos aromas afrutados y florales, resultando fresco, alegre y delicado en boca.

Bodegas Yuntero fue la primera bodega de Castilla-La Mancha en producir y comercializar vinos ecológicos, bajo la marca Mundo de Yuntero, línea que ya cuenta con 20 años de existencia.

Epílogo Blanco 2013 (Medalla de Oro)

Con Denominación de Origen La Mancha, está compuesto por las variedades de uva Sauvignon Blanc y Moscatel de grano menudo. Cada una de ellas se trabaja por separado para posteriormente realizar el coupage definitivo.

Es de gran intensidad aromática, conjugándose los aromas florales y exóticos de la variedad Sauvignon Blanc (pomelo, mango, maracuyá) y los tonos amoscatelados de la variedad Moscatel. En boca, resulta un vino muy fresco y con buen volumen, ofreciendo una sensación amielada, suave y sedosa.
