The Jesús del Perdón de Manzanares Cooperative held an emotional and intense Ordinary General Assembly last Sunday the 22nd, in which part of the Governing Council was renewed, including the President, the annual accounts for the 2013/2014 financial year were approved and the approved an ambitious investment plan for 2015, which exceeds 5 million Euros.
The intense Assembly began with a report from the President and a presentation by the Manager, Mr. Ramón Alcarazo Peñuelas, of the annual accounts of the past year; These accounts, among their most significant results, show a turnover of: 32,678,899 Euros, (in 11 months of activity), an EBITDA of €2,075,847, a result for the year of €474,255, in addition to some taxes to be paid of €50,457, among other items.
The General Assembly unanimously approved these accounts presented by the Governing Council.
The proposal for the ambitious investment plan, of more than 5 million euros, was approved by the Assembly, with only one abstention. This plan comes to strengthen the winery's commitment to improving the quality of production processes, improving customer service at harvest time and the commitment of partners to the environment by approving the injection of another 280,000 € in the expansion and improvement of purification processes. With this item, the winery's investments in its treatment plant would be €500,000.
The emotional and intense day ended with the partial renewal of the Governing Council of the winery, in which its President, Mr. Félix Cano Díaz-Benito, was renewed by an overwhelming majority; In addition, there were some brilliant interventions by the candidates, who recalled the best times of the Winery.

– Mr. Gabriel-José Nieto-Márquez León, as Member
– Doña Ascensión Millán Fernández-Bravo, as Vocals

In this Assembly, a small tribute was also paid to the outgoing Treasurer, Don Felipe Nieto-Márquez Maeso, after more than 24 years of permanence on the Governing Council.
