A delegation of American importers visits Bodegas Yuntero

La visita, que tuvo lugar la pasada semana, se enmarca en las Misiones Inversas organizadas por la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Ciudad Real, y que cuentan con el patrocinio de la Diputación provincial.

Del 9 al 11 de septiembre, la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Ciudad Real organizó una nueva Misión Inversa con importadores estadounidenses, con el objetivo de propiciar contactos y acuerdos comerciales con empresas ciudadrealeñas.

Bodegas Yuntero dio a conocer sus productos a la delegación estadounidense mediante una jornada de catas llevada a cabo en el Parador de Almagro el martes 9 de septiembre. El grupo de importadores también visitó las instalaciones de la bodega, situadas en Manzanares (Ciudad Real), durante la jornada del jueves 11.

En 2014 Bodegas Yuntero ha realizado una importante inversión en sus instalaciones (6 millones de euros) para dotarlas de un nuevo jaraíz de uva blanca, cuatro nuevos descargaderos, y ampliar su capacidad de almacenamiento -hasta alcanzar un total de 82 millones de litros de vino-, entre otros equipamientos.

Las obras, que comenzaron la pasada primavera, se encuentran en una fase muy avanzada de ejecución. Ya están terminados y operativos el nuevo jaraíz de uva blanca, los cuatro nuevos descargaderos y una nueva báscula de pesaje. Continúa a buen ritmo la construcción de los nuevos depósitos de almacenamiento, que incrementarán en 20 millones de litros la capacidad actual de la bodega.

Acciones comerciales con EEUU
Bodegas Yuntero destina el 86% de su producción a la exportación, siendo Estados Unidos uno de los veinte países en los que ya está comercializando sus productos. La bodega, que este año cumple 60 años de existencia, realizó el pasado mes de febrero una gira comercial por diversas ciudades estadounidenses obteniendo gran aceptación entre las empresas norteamericanas del sector vinícola. En junio, participó también en una Misión Inversa con compradores de este país, organizada igualmente por la Cámara de Comercio.
